––– OUR APPROACH

What hormone optimization means

Hormone optimization focuses on restoring hormonal balance to support energy, metabolism, mood, sleep, mental clarity, libido, and overall vitality.

Personalized treatment plans can help relieve common symptoms such as fatigue, weight gain, brain fog, mood changes, low sex drive, hot flashes, and poor sleep associated with aging, stress, or hormonal imbalances.

This is not a single prescription applied to everyone. Your plan depends on your history, your symptoms, your testing, and your goals.

The hormones we evaluate

Hormones do not work independently. Thyroid function affects metabolism and mood. Cortisol affects sleep and blood sugar. Sex hormones affect all of it. Evaluating one in isolation rarely explains the whole picture.

  • Estrogen and progesterone

  • Testosterone, in both women and men

  • Thyroid hormones, evaluated beyond a single screening marker

  • Cortisol and the stress response

  • Insulin and blood sugar regulation

  • DHEA and adrenal markers

How we get to a plan

Step 01

Your story first.

What changed, when, and what has already been tried.

Step 02

Testing where it helps.

Advanced panels provide deeper insight into hormonal balance, metabolism, cardiovascular health, and inflammation. These are chosen based on your presentation and history.

Step 03

A plan built together.

Hormonal support where appropriate, alongside the nutrition, sleep, stress, and lifestyle factors that influence how well any plan works. We discuss the available options, how each is delivered, and how each is monitored.

Step 04

Ongoing review.

Follow up testing and regular review are part of treatment, not optional extras.

Common questions

Common questions

Who is hormone optimization for?

Women and men with symptoms that may be linked to hormonal change, such as fatigue, poor sleep, weight gain, brain fog, mood changes, low libido, or hot flashes. Whether it is right for you is determined through clinical evaluation.

Is this only for women in menopause?

No. Hormonal changes can begin years before menopause, and they affect men as well. Thyroid function, cortisol, and insulin also shape how you feel, and they are evaluated alongside sex hormones.

Do I need lab testing first?

In most cases, yes. Testing establishes a baseline and guides any treatment decision. Which panels are ordered depends on your symptoms, history, and what earlier testing has already shown.

What treatment options do you offer?

Options are discussed during your evaluation. What is appropriate depends on your history, symptoms, testing, and preferences. Hormonal support is always paired with attention to nutrition, sleep, stress, and metabolic health. We do not offer hormone pellets.

Is hormone therapy safe?

Hormone therapy has benefits and risks that vary with your age, health history, and the type of therapy. We review both with you before anything is prescribed, and we monitor you throughout treatment.

How is treatment monitored?

Through follow up visits and repeat testing at set intervals. Your plan is adjusted based on how you respond, not left unchanged once started.

How long before I notice a difference?

This varies between individuals and depends on what is being addressed. We set expectations together at your first visit and review progress at each follow up.

Do you take insurance?

We do not bill insurance for consultations. Insurance covers most lab work, though not all. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, HSA, and FSA, and financing is available through Cherry.

Important Notice

Specialty diagnostic testing is a clinician guided evaluation designed to offer additional clinical insight when standard testing has not fully addressed a patient's wellness concerns. It is not intended to independently diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any specific disease. Some specialty panels referenced on this page are specialized diagnostic tests and have not been cleared or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Results should be interpreted within the context of a comprehensive clinical evaluation. This service is not a replacement for care or evaluation by your primary care provider or specialist.
